How to make: Basic Pizza Dough


Makes: 2 pizza's

14 gr dry yeast
200 ml warm water
1 tsp sugar

350 gr all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
4 tbsp olive oil


1. Make the yeast mixture; in a small bowl, stir together the water, sugar and dry yeast. Set aside

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, oil, salt and yeast mixture knead until a ball of dough begins to form. (5 to 10 minutes).

3. Oil a bowl and place the dough into the greased bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

4. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and divide it into 2 equal pieces. Cover each with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap and let them rest for 10 minutes.

5. Use dough. Bake dough in preheated oven on 250C(480F)
