Homemade Satay Sauce



25 gram butter
1 clove garlic, mashed
150 millilitre water
2 tablespoons peanutbutter
1 1/2 teaspoon sambal
2 tablespoons ketjap Manis


1. Place the butter in a medium sauce pan over medium heat. 
In a bowl, Add 150 ml water peanutputter stir until the peanutputter melted. Pour it into the pan.
add the sambal, ketjap and mashed garlic.Bring to a very gentle boil over medium heat, whisking constantly. Let the mixture simmer for 3-5 minutes over low heat; be careful not to let the mixture scorch at the bottom of the pot.

2. Take the pot off the heat, let the sauce cool down to room temperature (or slightly
warmer), and serve the sauce with satay.
