Jam Granola Bars


servings 6 bars

50 gr butter, melted
75 gr light brown sugar
200 gr oats
75 gr honey
50 gr coconut
50 gr chocolate chips
5 tbsp jam


1. Preheat your oven to 170 C - 340 F. Butter a 8 by 12-inch baking dish and line with parchment paper. Set aside.

2. In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar. Add the oats, honey, coconut and chocolate chips. Stir until incorporated. 

3. Pour half of the mixture into the lined dish. Use spatula; press the mixture evenly into the pan.

4. Spoon the jam all over the mixture. Pour the remaining mixture over the jam. 

5. Bake in preheated oven for about 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely for at least 1 hour.

6. Cuth into squares. Serve at room temperature.
