Easter Cookies


Makes 20 cookies

100 gr butter, softened
50 gr granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
150 gr all purpose flour
1 tbsp milk

1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp granulated sugar


1. Preheat your oven to 175c/350 f and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, sugar, flour, baking powder, vanilla, salt and milk.
Knead until an elastic dough begins to form.

3. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough out, cut with the cookie cutter. Place on lined baking sheet and brush with the beaten egg. Top each cookie with sugar.

4. Place in preheated oven and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
