How to: Caramelize Nuts

Ingredients
200 gr nuts, (salted)
2,5 tbsp honey
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon powder
2 tbsp granulated sugar
Instructions
1. Bring butter, honey, vanilla extract and cinnamon powder to a boil in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Add the nuts, stir until the nuts are well coated.
2. Preheat oven to 160 C - 320 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
3. Pour the nuts over the lined sheet, roast in preheated oven for about 20 minutes. Stirring every 5 minutes.
4. Remove from oven. Stir and cool for about 2 minutes. Coat the nuts with 2 tbsp granulated sugar.
Candied nuts can be made 1 week ahead and kept in an airtight container at room temperature
