Mixed Peppers Pasta



servings: 4

300 gr (mini) penne pasta
2 tbsp olive oil
200 gr chicken breast, cubbed
1 onion, cutted into rings
1 garlic clove, cutted
3 mixed bell peppers, cutted into strips
200 ml pasta sauce or canned tomatoes
1 tbsp sambal (optional)
ground black pepper


1. In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp olive oil. Add the cubbed chicken breast and cook for 7 to 10 minutes. Add the vegetables and cook for another 5 to 6 minutes over medium heat until the vegetables are tender. Stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper. Add the paste sauce and sambal, cook 2-3 minutes more over medium heat.

2. Meanwhile, in a pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta until al dente. Drain the pasta.

3. Combine the pasta with the vegetables and heat for 2-3 minutes.
