Greek Tzatziki Burgers



makes 5

for the burgers:

500 gr lamb mince
handful parsley, chopped
1 garlic, pressed
ground black pepper

for the tzatziki:

2 tbsp yogurt
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 small cucumber, peeled and grated
ground black pepper

5 burger buns
20 slices cucumber


1. Toast the buns set aside.

2. Make the tzatziki: In a small bowl, combine the ingredients for the tzatziki stir until combined and place in refrigerator before using.

3. Make the burgers: In a mixing bowl, combine the ingredients for the burgers, then shape into 4 burgers.

4. Oil a skillet or barbeque over medium heat and grill the burgers for about 5 minutes over medium heat. Each side until cooked all the way trough. Season both sides with salt and grated pepper.

5. Build the burgers:  Serve the buns with 1 tbsp tzatziki, arugula, cucumber slices, burger, 1/2 tbsp tzatziki and more cucumber slices on top.
