Penne With Homemade Pesto Sauce


3 servings

250 gr Penne pasta
150 gr chicken breast
3 tbsp homemade basil pesto - > Pesto recipe
3 pieces sun dried tomatoes
handfull green olives
olive oil
25 gr pine nuts


1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and olive oil and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; seive and stir in some olive oil.

2. Roast the nuts until golden brown; set aside.

3. Place the sun dried tomatoes in a bowl hot water for 10 minutes.
Cut into small pieces.

4. Cut the chicken into cubes. 
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Saute chicken until almost cooked. Stir in the nuts, olives, tomatoes and the homemade pesto sauce and a pich salt. Cook until chicken is no longer pink inside.

Stir in cooked pasta and enjoy!

Serve with grated Parmesan
