Cheeseburger with Homemade Mayonnaise and Caramelised Onion


3 servings

300 gr ground beef
1 egg
3 tbsp bread-crumbs
pinch salt
pinch black pepper

1 tbsp olive oil
3 slices American cheese 
Homemade mayonnaise Mayonnaise recipe
Caramelised onion Caramelised onion
sliced tomatoes
3 hamburger buns


1. In a large bowl, stir together the beef, egg, crumbs, salt and pepper. 
Shape into burgers with your hands

2. Heat a skillet with oil over medium heat and place the burgers, season with pepper and salt. Grill both sides for 4 minutes over medium heat.

3. Place the cheese and bake for another 2 minutes until the cheese melted.

4. Spread the bun with homemade mayonnaise, place the arugula, sliced tomatoes burger and caramelised onion top with the other half of the bread.
