Pear Tart With Goat Cheese and Honey


Servings: 1 large tart  Prep time:  15 minutes  
Baking time:  15 minutes  Total time:  30 minutes

  • 4 sheets of puff pastry squares
  • 2 pears, cut into 1/4-inch slices 
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 70 gr goat cheese
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 egg yolk


1. Preheat your oven to 200C(392F) and line or grease a baking pan.

2. Press together the edges of the pastry squares to seal. Transfer to prepared baking pan. Prick the middle of pastry in with a fork.

3. Core and slice the pears thinly and drizzle the lemon juice over top to keep the tears from browning. Crumble the goat cheese and sprinkle on top of the pastry sheet. Arrange the pear slices on top in an alternating pattern. Drizzle honey on top. Brush sides with egg yolk.

4. Bake in preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
