Parmesan Garlic Spaghetti - 15 Minute Meal


Yield: 4 servings  Prep time: 5 minutes Cooking time: 10 minutes
Total time: 15 minutes

  • 8 ounces spaghetti (225 gr)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, optional
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese kosher salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • Handful parsley, chopped


1. In a large pot of boiling slated water, cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large pan, combine the butter, oil, minced garlic and red pepper flakes over medium heat until the butter has melted. Cook, whisking constantly, until the butter begins to turn a golden brown for about 3-4 minutes. 

3. Remove from heat. Stir in pasta, grated Parmesan, salt, ground black pepper and chopped parsley. Stir until well combined. 

4. Garnish with more parsley before serving.
