BUÑUELOS - Mexican Fritters Recipe


Servings: 1  Prep time: 5 minutes  Cooking time: 10 minutes
Total time: 15 minutes


  • 1 tortilla bread
  • Pot oil for frying
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon


1. Heat a large pot frying oil and line a plate with kitchen towel.
Make the sugar mixture: Combine the sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.

2. Cut the tortilla bread in triangles and fry until golden to deep brown.
Drain on kitchen towel lined plate. 

3. Sprinkle the fried tortilla triangles with some sugar
