Fried Nutella Pastry Puffs



Sheets of puff pastry
Nutella or another hazelnut paste

3/4 pot oil for frying
Icing sugar


1. Lightly flour surface and lightly roll out the thawed pastry dough to about half its original thickness. Cut in 4 equal squares.

2. Place 1 tsp hazelnut paste onto each square. Fold edges to form a ball. Flatten lightly to seal.

3. Heat the pot oil over medium heat. Place the balls into the oil, fry both sides over medium heat until golden brown for about 1 to 2 minutes.

4. Dust with some icing sugar on top. Serve warm.
