Easy Chocolate Pudding Recipe


Makes 6 

1 egg
6 tbsp granulated sugar
3 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp cocoa powder
600 ml cold milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp butter
150 gr dark chocolate


1. In a medium saucepan, whisk 1 egg and 6 tbsp sugar. Stir in cornstarch, cocoa powder and milk. Whisk until no clumps.

2. Place the pan over medium heat. Stirring bring to a simmer. Add butter and vanilla  cook over medium-high heat whisking constantly, until the pudding comes to a full boil. Reduce the heat to maintain a simmer, and continue whisking until thick, about 2 or 3 minutes more. Remove from heat.

3. Stir in the dark chocolate, until the chocolate completely  melted.

4. Pour the pudding over 6 small cups. Allow to cool for at least 1 hour.

5. Cover the cups with plastic wrap, please in refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
