Rudolph Reindeer cookies recipe




Ingredients
Makes 40 cookies

225 gr butter, softened
1 egg and 1 egg yolk
160 gr dark brown sugar
160 ml molasses or another dark syrup
pinch salt
1 tbsp ground ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch ground nutmeg
500 gr all purpose flour
Pretzels
Red mini M&M's
Choco chips

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, stir together the ingredients and knead briefly until smooth, wrap in clingfim and leave to chill in the refrigerator for 4 hours. ( or fridge for 20 minutes).
2. Preheat oven to 175c/350f line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

3. Roll dough into balls, place on baking sheet and flatten lightly with your hands.

4. Press two pretzels into the two top corners of each triangle for the antlers. Press two chocolate chips into the center of each triangle for the eyes, and one red m&m on the bottom of the triangle for the nose. 



5. Place in preheated oven and bake for about 8-10 minutes.
