Homemade Granola Bars


Health granola snacks back to school snacks.

yield: 12 bars

50 gr butter
75 gr (light brown) sugar
75 gr honey
200 gr oats
50 gr roasted peanuts
50 gr dried cranberries
50 gr dark chocolate chips
50 gr coconut
chopped and roasted nuts, optional


Preheat the oven to 170 c/340 degrees F. 

Butter an 8 by 12-inch baking dish and line it with parchment paper.

1.In a sauce pan, melt butter, remove from heat, add suga and honey.
Stir until sugar is melted; set aside.

2.In a large bowl, stir together all ingredients and the honey mixture.

3.Pour the mixture into the prepared pan. Wet your fingers and lightly press the mixture evenly into the pan. 

4.Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until light golden brown. Cool for at least 15-20 minutes.

5.cut into squares. Serve at room temperature.
