Cheesy Tagliatelle | 10 Minute Meal
11:12- 250 g tagliatelle, fresh or dried
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp all purpose flour
- 100 ml milk
- salt
- pinch ground nutmeg
- 150 g shredded cheese, your favorite
- 100 ml heavy cream
Instructions
1. Bring a saucepan of salted water to the boil and cook tagliatelle according to the packet instructions. Drain and save some cooking water.
2. Meanwhile make the sauce: Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute. Stir in milk and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Remove form heat. Season with salt and ground nutmeg. Add cheese and heavy cream stir until well combined. Cook for another 2-3 minutes. Stir in about 3 tablespoons of the cooking water. Add tagliatelle and serve warm.
