30 Minute Soft Dinner Rolls Recipe


makes: 11

240 ml yogurt
1 egg 
1 egg white
100 ml vegetable oil
375 gr all purpose flour
1 sachet baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

1 egg yolk, beaten
1 tbsp butter, melted


1. In a large bowl, combine the egg, egg white, yogurt, salt, vegetable oil and baking powder. Sir until smooth. Add half of the flour stir until combined. Add the remaing flour knead until an elastic dough begins tof form.

2. Preheat your oven to 200 C - 390 F and grease a 23 x 23 cm baking tray.

3. Divide dough into 9 equal size balls, roll into balls and place on greased tray.
(Roll remaing dough into balls and place in paper muffin cups)

3. Brush top with beaten egg yolk. Bake in preheated oven for about 20 to 25 minutes or until deep brown.

4. Remove from oven. Brush top of each bun with melted butter.

  1. It would be nice to show conversion for ml, gr, sachet and degrees in C, plus the 23x23 cm pan. I had to look everything up and I'm still not sure I have the correct amounts or the correct temperature in F.
