Dutch Apple Pancakes ' Pannenkoeken'


Serves 9 large pancakes 

2 eggs
2 tbsp white sugar
500 ml milk
Pinch salt
2 tbsp oil
230 gr all purpose flour
1 sachet bakingpowder 
1/2 apple peeled and sliced

Butter for the pan

Serve with icing sugar


1. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar. 
Whisk in the oil, salt and milk. Add the flour and baking powder stir until incorporated.

2. Add the sliced apples and stir until well combined.

3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Melt butter. Scoop full spoon of batter into the skillet. Cook both sides until golden brown. 
Serve with icing sugar.
