Ingredients
  • 170g unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 150g light brown sugar
  • 100g granulated sugar
  • 280g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1,5 tbsp cornstarch
  • 80g chocolate chips
  • 80g chocolate chunks
Method

1. Stir together the melted butter, egg, egg yolk, vanilla, light brown sugar and granulated sugar.
Stir in  the dry ingredients, then add the chocolate and stir until well combined.

2. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight, at least 1 hour.

3. Preheat the oven to 160 C / 320 F and line 2 baking trays with parchment paper.

4. Roll dough into balls, about 3 tbsp each ball. Place on lined baking sheet, 8 balls on each sheet. Place some extra chocolate on top of each ball.

5. Bake in preheated oven for about 13 minutes. 

6. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
