Ingredients
- 500g egg noodles (or other noodles)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 300g chicken breasts, sliced into pieces
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 300g broccoli, bite size pieces
- 1 carrot, peeled and sliced thin
- 150 mL water
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp ketjap manis
- 1/2 tbsp sambal oelek
- 1/2 tsp salt
Method:
1. Heat oil in a large wok pan or frying pan. Saute the chicken, add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes more. Add the vegetables and, saute for 3-4 minutes. Then add the water and salt, simmer for about 4 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions.
3. Add the sambal oelek, ketjap manis and soy sauce, saute for about 3-4 minutes. Add the noodles to the chicken and cook for 2 minutes.
