No-Bake Chocolate Biscuit Cake | Episode 507

 My mother's favorite no-bake chocolate pudding cake.
The cake is made with petit beurre biscuits and topped with coconut.

Ingredients
  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 6 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1,5 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 8g vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 175g petit beurre biscuits
  • 3 tbsp coconut
Method

1. To make the pudding: In a medium pan, combine milk, egg, sugar, cornstarch, flour and cocoa powder. Bring to a boil over medium heat; boil and stir for about 5 minutes or until thickened. Stir in the vanilla sugar and butter. Remove from the heat.

2. Place biscuits on the bottom of a dish, spread the warm pudding over the biscuits. Repeat and end with the chocolate pudding. Top with coconut.

3. Allow to cool completely then transfer to refrigerator and chill before serving.
