Burger King style chili cheese bites. 
Melted cheddar cheese is mixed with jalapeños pepper, coated and fried.

Ingredients
  • 8 slices (200g) cheddar cheese
  • 1 jalapeño
  • 150g all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 250g breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika powder


Method

1. Finely dice the jalapeños, remove the seeds first so they are not quite as strong.

2. Melt the cheese au bain marie. Add the diced jalapeños, stir together and allow transfer to refrigerator to set for at least 15 minutes.

3. Meanwhile, season the breadcrumbs with salt and spices.

4. Roll cheese mixture into balls, turn them first in the flour, then in beaten egg, and then in the seasoned breadcrumbs. Turn them for the second time in the beaten egg, and then in the seasoned breadcrumbs. Transfer to the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to set.

5. Deep-fry the balls until golden brown. Don't fry them all at once; if you place too many in the saucepan together, it will reduce the temperature of the oil so much that they will not fry properly.

6. Place the fried balls on kitchen paper towel and serve with chili sauce.
