Turkish Pudding (TAVUK GOGSU) | Episode 445

Ingredients

  • 125g butter
  • 120g all-purpose flour
  • 180g granulated sugar
  • 1 lt. milk
For the top:
  • cinnamon

Method:

1. In a medium pot, melt the butter, add the flour and sauté until it loses its scent and it gets a little pinky.

2. Stir in the granulated sugar and milk. Stir constantly until your pudding boils and gets thicker. (Stirring constantly is very important while adding your milk if you don’t want a lumpy mixture.) When your pudding starts to boil cook for 2-3 more minutes.

3. Wet a medium glass baking dish with water and pour your pudding in it. Allow to cool completely for at least 1 hour. Place in refrigerator and allow to set before serving.

4. Slice the pudding and serve with some cinnamon powder on top.
