Oven Baked Crispy Buffalo Wings | Episode 443

Ingredients

Chicken wings:
  • 1,5 kg chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1,5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Chilli sauce to serve
Buffalo sauce:
  • 1,5 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1,5 tbsp hot sauce (Madame Jeanette sambal or another hot sauce)
  • 1 tbsp honey or sugar
Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 230 C - 450 F and line a baking pan tray with parchment paper. 

2. Pat dry the wings liberally with paper towels and transfer to a large bowl.

3. Mix the salt, spices and baking powder with the wings. Toss wings through the spices until evenly coated.

4. Arrange the coated wings on the lined baking tray. Bake for about 30-35 mins or until golden brown and crispy.

5. Meanwhile, stir together the melted butter, hot sauce and honey.

6. Remove the wings from the oven. Brush the wings with the buffalo sauce and continue to bake for about 2-3 minutes more. 

7. Serve with chilli sauce or your favorite sauce.
