Mixed Berry Galette Ep 316


YIELD: 1 galette, about 6 servings - Prep Time: 10 M - Cook Time: 25 M - Total Time: 35 M

  • 1 roll ready made puff pastry(270 g)
  • 250 g mixed berries, frozen or fresh
  • 2 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 tbsp almond shavings
  • 1 cup water


1. Preheat the oven to 220C 428F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Unroll the puff pasrtry on the lined baking sheet. Pour the berries into the center of the dough, leaving a 2-3 inch border all around. Gently fold the edges of the dough over the fruit, overlapping the dough as necessary. Press gently to seal the edges. Brush the edges with water and sprinkle with sugar and almond shavings.
3. Bake in preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until golden to deep brown.
Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
