Puff Pastry Pineapple Pinwheels


Puff pastry pinwheels recipe

makes: 4

4 sheets of puff pastry
4 tsp jam
8 tsp Pastry cream ( recipe -> Pastry cream recipe )
50 gr pineapple slices
20 gr sugar


1 Heat the oven to 200c/390f and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2 Cut diagonal lines from the corners of the pastry to within 3/4-inch of the preserves.
3 Spoon 1 tsp of jam and 2 tsp of the pastry cream in the center of each pastry.
Place the pineapples in the center.
4 Fold every other corner up over the preserves to the center, overlapping the points and pinching to seal.
5 Brush the pinwheels with water and spinkle with some sugar.
6 Bake for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
