Ingredients
  • 65g unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 75g granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 200g whole wheat flour
  • 50 ml water
  • 70g dark chocolate chunks
  • handful unsalted peanuts, crushed
Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / 350 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large mixing bowl, beat or stir the butter, egg, sugar, peanut butter, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and flour until combined. Pour in the water and stir or beat until smooth. 

3. Add the crushed peanuts and chocolate chunks to the batter and stir until well combined.

4. Cover the dough with foil and allow to chill in refrigerator for about 10 to 20 minutes.

5. Roll dough into balls, flatten lightly with your hands and place on the lined baking sheet.

6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 13-15 minutes. Allow to cool completely before serving,
