Ingredients
  • 150g chocolate wafers (Penny Wafers)
  • 3 tbsp Nutella or another chocolate spread
  • 200g milk chocolate + 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • handful unsalted hazelnuts
  • 15 unsalted whole hazelnuts
Method

1. Crush the wafers and transfer to a bowl. Stir together the crushed wafers and Nutella. Place in refrigerator to set for about 5 minutes.

2. Meanwhile, roast the unsalted almonds and cut or crush. Set aside.

3. Roll the wafers mixture into balls, flatten and place 1 hazelnut in the center. Roll into a ball and place on a lined plate. Repeat with remaining mixture. Place in refrigerator to set for about 5 minutes.

4. Meanwhile, add sunflower to the milk chocolate and melt the chocolate. (3 x 30 sec in the microwave). Stir together the melted chocolate and crushed hazelnuts.

5. Dip each ball into the chocolate hazelnut mixture and place on the lined plate. Refrigerate until set.
