Ingredients
- 250 butter, at room temperature
- 200 g confectioners sugar
- pinch salt
- 2 tsp vanilla bean paste or 1 sachet vanilla sugar
- 320 g all purpose flour
- 80 g crushed hazelnuts, raw or roasted
- about 100 g confectioners sugar extra for rolling
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 165C 329F and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. Cream butter, sugar, pinch salt and vanilla in a medium bowl until creamy.
3. Add half of the flour stir until incorporated. Add remaining flour, knead until well mixed.
Add the hazelnuts, knead until well combined.
4. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Or shape into half moons. Place 1 inch apart onto lined cookie sheets.
5. Bake in preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
