Whole Wheat Honey Bread in Muffin Cups | Episode 364

Ingredients
  • 14 g dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 200 ml lukewarm water
  • 350 g whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 100 g mixed seeds + more for top
  • 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

1. In a small mixing bowl, combine the warm water, yeast and sugar. Let sit for about 10 minutes.

2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt and yeast mixture. Knead until well combined. Add the olive oil and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth. Add the mixed seeds and knead for 3 minutes more.

3. Roll into equal size balls. Place in muffin paper cups lined muffin pan.

4. Cover the pan and allow to rise for about 45 to 50 minutes.

5. Mix the honey and olive oil. Brush each bun with the mixture and top with the remaining seeds.

6. Bake in preheated oven 220 C 428 F for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
