Instructions
- 1 egg
- 1 egg white(egg yolk for the top)
- 240 ml yogurt
- 100 ml sunflower oil
- 360 g all purpose flour
- 1 sachet baking powder (16 g)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 100 g Cheddar cheese, cut into small cubes
Top:
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp milk
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 180C 356F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a mixing bowl, stir together the egg, egg white, yogurt and oil. Add the flour, baking powder and salt. Knead until a smooth ball of dough begins to form. Add little more flour if dough is too sticky. Add the cutted cheddar cheese and knead until well combined.
3. Roll into 15-18 equal size balls. Place on lined baking sheet. Stir together the egg yolk and milk. Brush the top of the buns with the egg wash.
4. Bake in preheated oven for about 35 minutes or until golden to deep brown.
