Instructions
- 400 g tinned chickpeas, drained, liquid reserved.
- 6 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lemon juice
- 80 g tahini (sesame paste)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 tbsp chickpeas liquid
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp paprika powder
- 1/4 tsp cumin
Top
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp extra chickpeas
Instructions
1. Turn on the food processor fitted with the steel blade, add the ingredients to the food processor, (reserve a few whole chickpeas for serving) process until the hummus is coarsely pureed.
2. Top with extra olive oil, red pepper flakes and reserved chickpeas. Serve with sliced crunchy veg, such as carrots, cucumbers, or peppers, and warm flatbreads.
