Stuffed Cheeseburger Buns


Stuffed easy cheeseburger buns recipe

16 burgers

240 ml yogurt, Greek
1 egg 
1 egg white
100 ml oil, vegatable
300 gr all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 sachet baking powder (16 gr)
Sprinkle with: sesame seeds
Brush with: 1 egg yolk

For the burgers

300 gr ground beef
pinch black pepper
pinch salt
16 mini slices cheese
16 slices pickle


Line a baking tray with parchment paper and preheat oven to 175c/347f.

1.Make the burgers: In a medium bowl stir together the ground beef, pinch salt and pepper. Form burgers, Grill in a skillet over medium heat; set aside.

2.Make the buns: In a large bowl stir together ingredients for the dough, knead until an elastic dough. Add more flour if the dough is sticky.

3.Stuff the dough: Dip your hands in oil, flatten the dough with your hands, place first the pickle then cheese as last the burger. Fold the dough, give a burger form with your hands and place on baking tray.

4.Brush the buns with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
5.Place in preheated oven and bake until golden brown for about 25 minutes.
