Feta Cheese Buns


Feta stuffed buns

yield: 20 buns

240 ml yogurt, Greek
1 egg 
1 egg white
100 ml oil, vegatable
300 gr all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 sachet baking powder (16 gr)


100 gr feta cheese, crumbled


1 egg yolk
5 tbsp oil, vegatable
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
pinch black pepper


Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat oven to 180c/ 347f

1.Make the buns: In a large bowl stir together ingredients for the dough, knead until an elastic dough. Add more flour if the dough is sticky.

2.Make the topping and filling: In a small bowl, stir together the egg yolk, oil, pinch black pepper and parsley.
In a medium bowl, crumble the feta cheese; set aside.

3.Stuff the dough: Dip your hands in oil, flatten the dough with your hands, Place the crumled feta cheese, fold the dough, roll lightly with your hands and place on baking tray.

4.Brush the buns: with the egg yolk mixture.
5.Place in preheated oven bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
