Ingredients
  • 125g butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 80g powdered sugar
  • 1 sachet vanilla sugar 
  • 125g cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 260g all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 180 C - 350 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the soft butter and egg. Add the powdered sugar, vanilla and cornstarch. Beat until incorporated. 

3. Add the flour and baking powder, beat until mixed, add more flour if needed.

4. Roll into small balls, top with chocolate chips and place on a lined baking sheet.

5. Bake in preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes or until lightly browned. Allow to cool completely. 

Store them at room temperature in an air-tight container or cookie jar.
