INGREDIENTS

  • 125 g almond flour
  • 190 g white sugar
  • 100 g egg whites
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 22 raw almonds
INSTRUCTIONS

1. In a small pan, combine the egg whites, sugar and almond flour. Heat the mixture over medium high heat for about 8 minutes. Stir constantly. Remove from heat, add the lemon juice and stir until well combined. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes.

2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 150C 302F.

3. Pour the mixture into a piping bag. Pipe out equal size balls onto the baking sheet.

4.Top with almonds and bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.

5. Cool on sheets 5 minutes, then transfer to racks to cool completely.
