Ingredients

  • 4-5 vanilla beans 
  • 250 ml vodka
  • 9 or 8 ounce bottle with a tight seal, washed and drained
Method:

1. Cut the beans in half. If the length of the vanilla beans don’t fit into your bottle or jar (or use the Vodka bottle), cut the vanilla beans into smaller pieces. Place beans into bottle or jar and cover with the vodka. Shake a few minutes. 

2. Store vanilla at room temperature out of direct sunlight. Shake about once per week. 
It can be ready to use in about 2 months upto 12 months for best flavor results. 

After using, replace with more vodka. The same beans will continue to flavor the vanilla for up to a year.










*Same vanilla extract in a smaller bottle.
