INGREDIENTS

  • 400 g oats
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 400 g mixed nuts, unsalted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • pinch salt
  • 500 ml water
  • 3 tbsp honey or another sweetener, optional












INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat the oven to 180C 356F and grease a round cake pan.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ingredients and stir until incorporated. Chill the mixture for about 10 minutes.
3. Spread into prepared pan and bake in preheated oven for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
4. Once cooled, slice and serve with honey or whipped cream. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
